Question/Problem: I need to clone a windows 7 pro 64 bit install from one hard drive to another. It's in the first (primary) partition on the drive it's currently on, and will be in the third (primary) partition on the new drive. I don't actually use windows, so I googled, and found a bunch of info saying windows doesn't run properly if it's moved to a different partition. How do I work around this?
Operating System, Version and Service Pack: Windows 7 pro 64 bit. The cloning can be done from in windows, or from in open suse 11.2 (KDE), or from anything I can boot off a USB stick.
Web Browser and Version: NA
Your level of experience (we simplify or explain instructions based on how you answer): I'm gonna go with Seasoned.
When did the problem start? Has it been going on constantly since then? When I was asked to work with an OS I don't use, and googled and discovered what I want to do has unique problems.
Any steps you've taken to troubleshoot? Googling. Reading.

Did you ever find a program, I am in the same boat at the moment, although I have managed to intercept the MCL data stream and trying to code for this.
