About the challenge
In today’s world, understanding how computer networks operate is a foundational skill for any IT professional. This challenge invites participants to apply that knowledge by using Cisco Packet Tracer to design and build — from scratch — a complete small network and fixing intentionally seeded misconfigurations.
Requirements
What to Build
Task 1: Open File 1 and solve the following problem statement:
Configure the network so that the router acts as a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses to both PCs
Task 2: Open File 2 ans solve the following problem statement:
Given that PC4 and PC5 are in communication, configure the network so that PC4 and PC5(Vlan 30) can communicate(send ping) to all other PC's and router.
Task 3: Problem Statment
Being a small network, a campus has the following requirements during implementation;
a) One router(2911) and one switch(2960) to be used.
b) 3 departments (Admin, FCSE and ACB)
c) Each department is required to be in different VLANS.
e) Host devices in the network are required to obtain IPv4 address automatically.
f) Devices in all the departments are required to communicate with each other.
Assume the ISP gave out a base network of 192.168.1.0, design and implement a network considering the above requirements.
What to Submit
