Adventures with our friends

Here are some random pictures from this summer that I wanted to make sure I remember!
Fun times, with great friends.

Ruby helping her Dad check things off his list.
You can tell she has me in her!  She is NOT excited
about his list, not one bit!

Hank and Jack with some cute boys from our
Neighborhood.  My boys are the batmans.

This picture will go down in history!  This is ALL
of my kids and all of Ty and Di's kids sitting at a "kid"
table while the adults sat across the way!  They made it
through the entire meal with no problems.  Not even a
spilled drink.  We thought we had left the kids at home
judging how relaxing our dinner was!  Thanks Baja Cantina
for having Faith in our children, and for being really fast at
bringing out the kids food.  What a relaxing dinner with the kids.
I never thought I would ever say that!

We have had a great summer, but it's not over yet!  I anticipate it
will only get better.

Rodeo!

Every year my dad takes us all to the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo.  It is so fun!  The kids get all geared up and so do the adults.  We really just all wear our cowboy boots, but that's good enough.  We eat lots up junk and enjoy the best rodeo in the state.  This year I thought that the bull riding was extra exciting and amazing.  Thanks Dad!  You are so much fun!

Jack is covered in sweat!  We walked from the
car to the rodeo and he looked like he just stepped
out of the shower!  But you can see from his face
that he didn't mind.  He loved what he saw!

Cow-kids!  I love you!
**Yes indeed, Wrangler butts drive me NUTS!
These boys have the cutest ones I have ever seen!

Face Lift

Colin and I have wanted to tile the backsplash FOREVER! We went back and forth about if we wanted to do it ourselves or not.  The truth is we are NOT handy!  So...we hired someone to do it.  I think it looks great!  What a new look for that ugly wall.

It still needs to be grouted.(Is that a word?)
What a difference, thanks Colin!

Shout out to Richfield, UT.

I love the 4th of JULY!

We went to Richfield for the
BEST fourth of July celebration
ever.  We have some great friends
who invite us to go every year!  It is
the funnest small town celebration.
We love the company the most of all!
Thank you Lukenega's!  You are the
greatest family in the world!  Colin and
I feel like one of the family whenever we
are with them.  We would gladly be adopted
into the family.

Some of the great celebration activities in Richfield are;
parade, fish catching, relay racing, navajo tacos, punch bags,
late night conversations, fireworks, new sunglasses from a great
Doctor! and lots of yummy food!
We wish everyone could have friends as great as ours!  Here are the photo's:

Thanks for the party!  I hope we get invited next

Backyard Camp Out

Colin set up the tent (i know it is pretty amazing
that he even owns a tent!) so the kids could go
camping in the backyard.  This is the ONLY kind of camping that
these Wright children will ever get.  The good thing
is, they think it is great.
Image
He set up the tent the night before so they spent
the entire day in it.
Image
I had to pump them full of fluids because it was
90+ in there!

All set up and ready to go!  Hank is pretending
to be asleep.  It is 10:30 a.m.  Colin will be home
around 9:00 p.m.  What do I do with them till
then?  I was pretty tired of the relentless, "When
will dad be home?"

1 month old!!

Does time fly?
I think she is enjoying a diet of cream!  Look at those cheeks!

Love her.
