Wish

Everyday at 1:00 I lay Ruby down for a nap. I give her a bottle, her binki, blanket, and turn off the lights. I tuck her in, with hopes that she will sleep for a few hours.

MY WISH:

Some one would do that to me...EVERYDAY:)

How do you know when you have had a good holiday season?

6 POUNDS!!

When you gain six pounds.

I owe a special thanks to all the yummy food that was made, brought, and purchased this holiday season, it was an especially great time of year!

COLIN--I will beat you in this challenge to take off the Christmas pounds. Watch out!

New Years 2011

We spent the new year in Park City with the Wright's. It was so great! We had fun sledding behind the Ranger, gaming, dancing, and eating! Here's to a new year that is as blessed as this past year has been!

The day after Chirstmas...

...we packed up and went to St. George. (our home away from home) We had a great time swimming, hiking, and eating.

We named them "Rockstars" for clibing all the rocks they could find.

Christmas Morning

Our kids are at such a fun age! Christmas was so great, and I think everyone got what they wanted...even though mom was ready to cancel it all together and put them all on the naughty list! They pulled through in the end. (Besides what kind of scares would I leave if I canceled it?)

We make them sing us a song on the stairs before they can go down!

Christmas Eve Tradition

Colin grew up going to the Nutcracker every Christmas Eve. That is a tradition we have incorporated into our family too. This year I took Ruth, Hank, and Jack. They loved it! The second that music starts my mind races with all kinds of memories, and Christmas has officially begun. Thanks Colin for such an amazing tradition.

Last but NOT least

We did it! We touched every temple in Utah. May I recommend leaving the temple closest to you for the last one, we barely fit it in.
We went to the Bountiful temple days before Christmas. The fog was so bad you couldn't see the temple when you were in the parking lot. Needless to say, the pictures aren't great. The focus that our family took on the temple this year is something none of us will forget. Hopefully we have showed our children how important the temple is to Colin and I. Now what for 2011?

Honorable Mention

Ruth won Honorable Mention at the council level for reflections! Cutie-patootie!

Live Nativity

My sister Ashlie has been talking about this nativity for years! We have never gone, but this year when she invited us we couldn't pass it up. It was so worth the trek to SLC. It is put on by a stake in Salt Lake. They spare no expense. It was so incredible and set a great spirit for ourSEASON.

The weather was good, and warm (for this time of year). We saw all kinds of animals, including a camel.
