Wondering

I have spent the last couple days with my head full of thoughts. I am sure I am not that only mother out there that gets in this mood. My mind in rushing with

Why do I get to be a mom?

Why do I get to have 5 healthy, amazing babies?

Why is my husband just what I need?

How can I ever deserve the life I live?

What can I do to help even that playing field?

Will I ruin these sweet things sent from heaven as I am "bossing" them all around?

What does is mean that my children ask me if "mean MOM" is in the house?

What am I doing wrong that is soooo obvious to everyone else, but I simply do not see it?

How will my heart not explode the next time my babies tell me they love me?

How can I let my sweetheart know how much I appreciate what he does for ME?

Why am I so lost?

I feel like someone is talking to me right now. He has something He wants me to understand and do. I sure hope I figure it out before I screw it all up.

My life is pretty amazing, not perfect, but amazing.

Spring Break #2

We left Wednesday for the trip of a lifetime! We flew to Phoenix early that morning. The kids were so excited to fly, and Ruby, who knows what goes through her head!?

We left so early on Wednesday morning that we ate breakfast at the airport. They are fresh and excited!

One of the HIGH lights of the trip was the mini van. The kids requested that we rent one. They were in heaven. Colin looks great driving that!!

When we got into town we had to kill a couple of hours. We went to this cute train park in Scottsdale. We had a great time, aside from the constant pestering of "When can we go to the hotel?"

One of my ALL time favorite places to eat in NYC is Grimaldi's pizza. They have one in Old Towne Scottsdale. We wasted no time, and ate there our first meal.

The kids program that they have at the hotel is sponsored by Nickelodeon. So, they got slimed!!

One day Ruby got into a fountain and she was cold so I had to strip her down. Can you say, White trash?

POOL TIME, this is what we did the majority of the time. This is WHY we came to Arizona.

Jack loved the waterslide and on a daily basis went down at least a million times. (Give or take)

Dad is so fun to be with and swim with. He is a kid at heart.

We went to a candy store and Hank got a Gigantic GUMMY bear. Colin was disgusted.

We went to the aquarium the last day. Ruby loves animals.

We met our friends Trevor and Melissa at the BBQ place in Chandler. It was yummy and good to see our old friends.

Make a Wish

We have gone to the Make a Wish Gala the past couple of years. It is fun and is an organization close to our hearts! (George had his wish granted this year!) This year was fun and different it was at the Clark Planetarium. They had EVERY Star Wars character there. We got our picture taken with them. Afterwards we laughed, How would we explain to the boys that we went to this party...and didn't take them!!

I dont' know.

Spring Break #1

My sweet husband had the idea to go on our first annual Wright Family Vacation! Don't get me wrong, we travel. We just never go alone. It is time we had that great time with just us and the kids. So we sat down at FHE in January and asked them where they wanted to go. We showed them pictures, and laid it all out. They chose Scottsdale at the Desert Ridge Hotel. They have a lazy river, water slide, and a beautiful hotel. OK, done and done!

Well, except Colin had the dates wrong. He booked our trip for April 13-16. Spring Break was April 4-8! No worries, we no how to party for two weeks!

Spring Break #1 is our staycation! We had a great week.

Monday:

This was looking to be our only really dry day so it was off to Hoggle Zoo. We went with our buddies George, Scarlet, and Grant. We love the zoo. The animals were out in full force.

Yes that is snow on April 4th!!

Tuesday:

The Carl Bloch exhibit has been in Provo for some time now. We have had one of our favorites hanging in our entry way for years. So, we made the trek down to the unmentionable city to see these paintings. We had a blast and went with the Stevensons! Always great fun with them.

We ate lunch at the student building at BYU. We had fun, and fit right in with all our children:).

We love the bookstore because of the candy. It is a throw back to my childhood at ZCMI! The candy lady dishes it up for you. Me, being a candy freak, made all my kids get something. They can experience culture in the heart of cougar land:)

Wednesday:

Henry Walker Homes is advertising with the Jazz this year. As part of the package they get to play some games on the court. We invited the Martineau's to come down with us, and shoot some hoops. Colin thought it was great, but said the court was way too BIG!

After that we went to Glen Wild and slept over. Always good for a quick retreat.

Thursday:

We had a low key day of park, soccer practice, and PUZZLES!

My Hank LOVES puzzles and he is pretty good at them. We spent the afternoon putting together every puzzle we own. Today, I am thankful for bad weather that kept my babies inside, and with me:)

Friday:

We met Emily, Ashlie, and my mom for a movie. We saw Hop. Loved it, it was so cute and fun. I have always been a fan of easter. (Candy Freak, remember!)
