Snow Days

Wyatt came home from preschool today and was running around outside like a puppy getting out of his cage. He was so excited to play in the snow, so I bundled he and Brielle up and sent them out to play.

Image It was the perfect day for hot chocolate. Wyatt preferred to sip his outside. Brielle wanted to come inside where it was warm after about 10 minutes. Wyatt ended up staying outside sledding with his buddies for a couple hours.

Oh Christmas Tree

Last weekend we were able to drive up to the Uintas and "find us the perfect Christmas tree" as Wyatt would say. The kids were sooo excited to see snow and hang out with their cousins. We had some good times with the Cooper clan.

Image Brett loves to take pictures. Here is one of my favs.

Well, besides getting stuck (thanks to Brett thinking he was driving a four wheeler instead of a suburban) it was a ton of fun! Can't wait to do it again next year!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Long overdue

Wow! Where does the time go??? I have been terrible with keeping up on our blog lately so I'm going to have to catch up on a few things that we have been up to. Wyatt's birthday was on October 15th and he turned 4!!! Actually, it was like a never ending birthday party for him because of all the different family celebrations we had for him. He had a fun birthday and got some awesome gifts, which of course the wheels are already broken off of most of the toys by now...this kid is rough on his things! I guess most boys are. We had a fun day with hime and I am so thankful for Wyatt being in our lives. He is a good kid and an awesome brother to Chloe and to he is pretty good to Brielle, most of the time.
Image Then, we also went to Sacramento to visit with our family for Josh's wedding. We had a blast. I had to travel by myself because Brett had to work, which was kind of tough, but I had alot of help from my Mom, Dad, Bry and Shay. Honestly, what would I have done without them?

The latest pics of Chloe

She is our little sweetheart. I could just stare at her sleeping like this for hours. I find myself being so much more laid back with our 3rd child. You never really know, I want to have more kids but, she could be our last. So, we tend to baby her more than we did with Wyatt and Brielle. We try to enjoy every "boring" minute. She has been such a blessing to our family and we love her dearly.

Happy Birthday Brett!

I am a bit behind on our blogging due to a crazy schedule with this n' that.
Brett's birthday was on October 7th and he turned the big 2-8! We are getting old! The kids and I took him out to eat for an early dinner. We all had good time being together.

Image Not the best pic of me....oh well! I look prego, which I am DEFINITELY not!

Kids DO the darndest things

Over the weekend, Wyatt decided to try out his Uncle Jake's trimmers that were sitting on the bathroom counter. He put a couple of nice buzz marks on the top of his head. This is the shortest it has ever been. He was pretty embarrassed about it at first. He called Grandpa Steve just sobbing to ask him for a hat to hide is hair. It was pretty sad but I don't think he will ever do it again....I hope.

Kids say the darndest things

So, Wyatt is going through a funny and emarrassing stage lately. I thought I'd post a couple of our embarrassing moments and his creative lies.

The other day, we were at walmart minding our own business. We come upon an employee who is up on a ladder stocking the shelves and Wyatt says " hi fat lady!" He really did not mean to be rude, he was just being honest-Iguess. Then as we pass by her he says "bye fat lady!" She looked at us kind of puzzled and said "byyyyye..." I was like OH MY GOSH! I was so embarrassed. We turned down the next aisle so we didn't make her feel even worse and I got down on his level and tried to address the situation.

Well, he didn't quite get the idea because later that day, we were at a park and I could see him talking to this little girls grandma, who was smoking a cig, and I was thinking oh crap-I can only imagine what he is telling her. So I tried to get him to come over to me and leave her alone. Once he came over, I asked hime what he was telling that lady and he said "mom, she was smoking a cigarette. I told her she will DIE!" Once again, I tried to teach him that we don't say things like that to people. We'll see how well that works...

Then, yesterday he came up with a creative little lie and after being mad, I was actually impressed with his imagination. I had just bought some hairspray and I asked him to go put it away for me. Not long after, I started to smell the hairspray and went to find him. He could hear me coming so he runs out the bathroom and says "mom, go back in the kitchen" I aked why and he said "there are spiders in there and they have huge, huge, huge poop." It was hard to keep a straight face. Crazy kids!

Watch out Brazil....here comes Elder Geisler!

On September 16, my youngest brother, Jed left to serve a two year mission in Salvador, Brazil. I am so proud of him . It takes alot of faith and sacrifice to leave your home for two years and live and teach in a foreign country while trying to learn a new language. We will miss Jed a ton, but we couldn't be happier for him.
Go get 'em bro!

Chloë's Special Day

Last sunday, we had all of our family up for Chloë's blessing. Brett gave her the sweetest blessing. It was a nice afternoon, and we are very thankful our families were able to be there. Thank you!

Just us girls

The girls and I don't quite know what to do without our man of the house. Brielle just wanders around acting like she is bored. She is used to playing/fighting with her big brother. Only one more year and it will be her turn. We'll be sure to take advantage of the time that we have together.

Wyatt's First Day of Pre-School

Wyatt has been so excited to start Pre-school. He has been talking about going to Miss Melodie's house since the day we told him about it. He had a blast!!

Image He is so much like his Dad...he has already tried to sneak things in his pocket to take to school. The first item he chose was his toothbrush. I guess that could be a good thing?!
