Monday, October 12, 2009
Well, as I am sure everyone has noticed, the Coopers have been delinquent in our posting on the 'ol Blog. October is almost half way done, so we figured that we needed to wrap the month of September up in one big post. As you will see, September 2009 was a busy month, with a lot of fun shared among the family. Thanks for being patient, and we hope everyone had a great summer!
Brett got to drive this Pontiac for the parade. Wyatt thought he was driving Lightning Mcqueen.
First day of school! Wyatt was sooo happy to have his superhero back-pack.
Brielle was also very excited to go to her very first day of pre-school
Hooray for the Idaho State Fair!!!! The kids had a blast going on all the rides and seeing all the animals. We also had fun seeing all the interesting folks that those state fairs bring out of the wood-work! (is that mean to say that???)
Of course, Wyatt's new thing lately is to see how big his muscles are. He's always comparing his to his dad's. It's good and bad. For one, it acts as a motivator to get him to eat all his dinner. He will ask us, "Mom, dad, will this make my muscles big?" Hey, whatever it takes, right?!!! Anyway, we also hope he grows out of it someday :)
Brielle just had to ride the horse that most resembled a princess horse.
Yes, it's true, DIANA CUT HER HAIR! Doesn't she look gorgeous? I sure think so :)
Wyatt being a little dramatic on the four-wheeler
Chloë had a blast watching her brother and sister.
This sure as heck hardly ever happens, so we had to take a picture of it!
The kids just loved playing with all the animals.
Wyatt's not too sure about standing next to this big bull.
The girls were pooped after a great day at the fair.
Brett and his dad Sam were pall-bearers for a wonderful man named Paul Skeen. The Coopers and the Skeens were really close families growing up, with Tyson being one of his best buddies. Tyson's dad, Paul (who was like a second dad to Brett), passed away after a long battle of kidney disease. Brett was so grateful and he considered it a real honor to participate side-by-side with his own dad in Paul's funeral. We are blessed to know families can be together forever!
Brielle just loooooves to help mommy cook in the kitchen.
Chloe has figured out how to be a little bat-girl!
Wyatt and Chloe getting ready for church.
Mommy's little diva!!!
Typical summer day with Wyatt and no shirt
Wyatt, Brielle, and Blaykley love making forts in Chloe's crib. However, we found this little hut being a little kissing club for Wyatt and his second cousin! KIDS THESE DAYS!!! Needless to say, after a little "talk," we are keeping a little closer eye on Wyatt and his "kissing cousin!"
This is one of the only shots you will see Chloe and a head band on. She just doesn't want to wear those things! (don't mind the frizzy hair)
So we decided to redo our railing. We thought it would be a quick and easy project to sand it down and get a new finish look on it. Well, it turned out to be A LOT more than we bargained for. We spent a whole Saturdy getting it done, and much to Diana's delight, I was there to help with the project. Even though she almost made me tear the whole thing out, it ended up looking okay. And yes, I did have sawdust boogers for about a week after the project!Thursday, August 13, 2009
Elder Geisler is back in black
On July 31, well actually August 1st, my 2nd little brother returned home from serving a mission in Tuxtla Guitierrez Mexico mission. His flight was supposed to come in at 7:44pm, but he didn't get in until 12:30 or so in the morning. That was a LOOONG 5 hours. We are so happy to have him back. Only another year and my 3rd brother, Jed will be home from his mission in Brazil. We will all be together again. YAY!
Happy Birthday to Chloë
On July 29th we celebrated Chloë's 1st birthday with our friends and family. Wow, where has her first year of her life gone? I think that the more kids we have, the faster time seems to go. Sometimes I'd like to just slow time down a little and enjoy the sweet, simple moments. We have loved every minute of your little life Chlo-mo and are excited to see what the future holds for you. Happy birthday sweetheart!

Pioneer Days
Today we went to the fairgrounds to the Pioneer Days celebration. It was sooo hot! The rides were super cheap and the hot dogs and watermelon were free. Of course, the Cooper's couldn't pass up some freebies.
We started off with letting Brielle get her face painted. She loved every minute of it. I swear she didn't move a muscle.
Then we headed to the arena to wait for Wyatt to do some Mutton Bustin'
While we were waiting, the motocross riders were warming up. Here you can see Wyatt screaming at them to go FASTER! This kid seeks a thrill. He especially loves anything with wheels and an engine.
This poor rider ended up being taken out in an ambulance. He went off his jump wrong and jumped off his bike to land on the other side of the hill. It was terrible to watch. I hope he is okay.
Thinking she is hot stuff with her "makeup" on.
