Requirements
How to Get Started
- Start from scratch on Courier
- or follow the "Automate Slack and Microsoft Teams Notifications using Python" guide
- or build on an open source project: fork and edit the Secret Messages repository (add your own twist or change it completely)
What to Submit
- Tag #courier on your project submission
- Link to public GitHub repo with code
- Short demo video (1-5 mins) of working project (screen-recording)
- Link to working prototype (must be deployed to be judged)
Community
- Join the community to brainstorm ideas, meet teammates, and share your project updates
- Tweet about your project with the hashtag #CourierHacks

Judging Criteria

Courier Integration
Project successfully integrates the Courier API and demonstrates successful integration of API within 1-5 minute video demo. Project can send any type of messages via the Courier API. -
Demo
Submission includes a 1-5 minute video demonstration of the working project with screen-recording that includes: application sending message(s), user receiving message(s), same message(s) appearing in Courier data log. Video should be uncut. -
Open Source
Is either a contribution to an open source project (show pull request) OR is an open source project. In the second case, project must include instructions on how others can contribute in README.md file on GitHub and must have a license. -
Creativity
Project takes an original approach to a problem. Solution effectively alleviates, solves, or helps the problem it is designed to solve. -
Design
Design is accessible, well thought out, demonstrates smart design choices, and is user-friendly.
