Where has the time gone?
How long has it been since I did a real post on here? I need to get my rear in gear and post something on here. I enjoy reading other people's blogs and keeping up with the fun things going on in their lives, so I should return the favor, right? Don't think there are many people that read this anyway, but I am sure that has something to do with me never posting anything. I will try to be better and post something soon.

Time for a face lift?
My blog really needs a face lift. If only I was technologically savvy enough to do it myself...I have the program and supplies to make a really cute background, but I don't know what size to make it, or how to use it once I have it made. Any tech geeks out there that can help point me in the right direction?
More adventures with photography...
About a month or so ago a friend of a friend (actually it is a little more complicated than that, but who has that much time) contacted me about taking some maternity pictures for her and her husband. It was only my second maternity shoot, but I think I got a few pretty good shots in there. Sorry of the configuration makes you dizzy. I thought they would fit in here two by two, but apparently not, and I am too lazy to delete them and upload them again! Enjoy...

I can't wait to take pictures of baby Liam when he makes his debut! Congratulations A & S!

Beautiful Miss B.
August kicks off birthday season in my family, and the birthdays will just keep on coming through December...wait, make that January since Miss A2 was born this past January.

I love you Miss B!
Back to Miss B, I can hardly believe she is 12 already! Time flies when you are having fun I suppose though! I can still remember going to see her at the hospital for the first time. I think she was still less than an hour old. Isn't she just beautiful though? Miss B. is such a great sister. She helps out with her younger sisters so well. She also has a big heart!
Here are a few photos I snapped of her to celebrate her recent birthday:

Where has the time gone?
Seriously, where has the last 3 months (give or take) gone? I am such a slacker, I haven't even finished blogging about my absolutely fabulous trip to WA back in May! While I did hit some of the highlights from the beginning of the week I totally missed the best part which came at the end of the trip. Let me catch up on a few other post ideas that I have, and then I will come back to that big trip. Hopefully I can get it taken care of before I go back up to the Pacific NW in September! Stay tuned!

Washington Wednesday
Wednesday was our free day to do whatever we wanted to all day long. We decided to drive to Snoqulmie Falls east of Seattle. It turned out to be a perfect day to see the falls. The waterfall itself is 268 feet tall. There are two observation decks for the falls themselves, but the day we were there you could not access the lower observation deck because trees had fallen on the trail. Here are a few shots of the falls though...
Standing on the observation deck you could feel the rumble of the water vibrating the platform It was amazing! Maelee loved all the mist on her face too.
Okay, I am totally obsessed with Japanesse maple trees, especially the red ones. I hate to admit how many photos I took of this type of tree while I was up there!
I just loved this tree with these great pink blossoms on it. It was also on the Temple grounds, but I don't have a clue what kind of tree it was.

I hate to admit how many photos I took of this type of tree while I was up there! After we were done at the falls we headed over to Bellevue to see the Seattle Temple. It was just as beautiful as I remembered! On my mission I never really had a chance to do much walking around the grounds, so it was fun to see the different kinds of plants they had planted there.

I admit it, I am a little obsessed with this Photoshop effect too. I used this same effect on a bunch of the pictures I took, but I will spare you of having to see them all!

We pretty much took it easy for the rest of the day after we finished up at the Temple.
