Lauren Madolyn

Lauren Madolyn is 10 and will be 11 in September. She is our middle child and I remember the night before she was born I was videotaping my big belly. She was moving all around and I had no idea I would be going to the hospital that night. She was a happy baby and easy to take care of. When she was a toddler, whenever she was tired she would just go get in her bed and take a nap. It was the funniest thing ever. She loved her sleep. She loved her chocolate milk, which she would call "O-shake" for some reason.
Lauren is kind to everyone and has a big heart. She stands up for other kids at school if they are being bullied. She likes to play pranks and draw. She is really great at basketball, football, and soccer. If you let her play video games all day, she would. She always has to be busy. She never sits still. She always hums while she is doing stuff. She just can't help it! Her best friends are boys, but she has had one best friend named Isabelle. Isabelle is a twin and her brother is named Conner. They have been Lauren's best buds since Kindergarten.
Lauren makes A's and likes to take things apart. She said she wants to be a surgeon!
The song that reminds me of Lauren is "Maybe I'm amazed" by Paul McCartney.
"Maybe I'm amazed at the way you help me sing my song, You right me when I'm wrong,
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you..."
Love my Lauren.

Here is Rachel Elizabeth. She is 13 1/2 years old now. So I am a little bit behind on this online scrapbook, don't you think? Better late than never. Rachel is totally gorgeous. She is very tall, very funny and very silly. She likes goats. And cows. She makes A's and B's in school and made 8th grade cheerleader for Aledo Middle School next year. I was so proud of her for trying out again. She didn't make it last year and she tried again. It was very hard, but she was confident and she shined like a star. She stayed home the day the results of the cheer team were announced. It was at 4:00 when they posted the winners on the school website. When I called her and told her she screammmmmmmed!!
Rachel likes to play on the computer, and hang out with her friends. She always fixes her grandma and grandpa's computers. Rachel loves music and writing her own songs. She is a fantastic photographer and has an eye for fashion. She loves hair bows, zebra print, memorizes movie lines word for word and she likes to stay up late in her bed when she's supposed to be in bed asleep.
She's a great swimmer, loves the water and likes to say random things all the time. Sometimes it's annoying, but what can you say? Rachel taught herself how to tumble and can do 10 or 15 back handsprings in a row, which I think is awesome!! Looks like she is flying! She makes me happy and "She's Got A Way" by Billy Joel always reminds me of her. Ever since she was a little girl it makes me cry when I hear it.. Love my Rachel..

Rachel is helping

Rachel is helping me to see if we are doing this right. She is my tehno wizard. Why is this all in different colors and fonts every time? Does it not save it or do I need to fix it every time? Isn't this fun?! I like the colors we picked together. We are awesome. LOL. Let's see how this one works.... This is a test, this is only a test. We are having homemade beans together tonight and daddy just informed us all " we are having beans as a family tonight." I am cracking up. He said no one is to be running off with their own bowl.. Gotta love that man.

Working & shopping with mom

Today Rachel went to work with me to help me put file folders together. We had fun afterwards and went shopping at the Mall. Went to Dillard's, Buckle, Wet Seal, and to Panda Express. We had a great day together! Tomorrow I am going to see Granny at her hospital in Greenville.
Lauren and Emma are eating popcorn and watching I-Carly. Emma was talking on her play phone to George Washington. She had to be sure we all spoke to him. She asked him if he had any teeth and if she was going to see him in heaven..

Today is a new day!

Well, a friend at work told me about setting up this "electronic scrapbook" which I think is so very cool for your kids to go back and see what cute things they said and did!! So I will try it out and hopefully it will be nothing short of spectacular!!
