New to the community
It's been a while since I did my scan of new communities...and since I discovered that isn't the catc-all that it used to be, here I come.
I'm a software nut. I used to work for Exactis.com (The folks who used to be Infobeat) doing Perl and Java development, but I got laid off from that job. So now I program in my spare time (Perl, C, C++, Java, PHP) and work at much less exciting jobs (like tech support).
I'm always more than happy to answer questions (when I can) especially about Perl (since I know the most about it). I'm equally as likely to be asking the questions, though (usually about C or, when I'm working on one of my Windows projects VC++).
