Another quick question

In visual studio.net 2003, whats the easiest syntax to removing a large amount of items from a really large list and set? Thanks.

EDIT: I'm having trouble with this. I know a set is pretty fast on finding items, but it's taking me much longer to find them and delete them. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...
