I was asked to rate my UNIX C++ for a prospective employer. I really didn't have time to deliberate, as it was a phone call, so I told her what I thought. Now I want to make sure I wasn't smoking crack...
As I recall, there isn't anything special about C++ on UNIX. You take the normal C stuff from UNIX (which are mostly POSIX libraries anyway), and you take the normal C++ stuff...combine them together and get C++ on UNIX...yes?
I just want to make sure I'm not missing some big aspect of C++ on UNIX that I'd never heard of before.
