Here is my version of the second & final bonus tag for The Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas 2013 Challenge. You can see Linda’s beautiful tag card HERE.
Here’s mine…
I was inspired by Linda’s use of paste through a stencil, & her marbled stain background. I folded my large tag the same way as Linda did, too.
I used Grungepaste through a snowflake stencil, then once it was dry, I used brushed pewter, picket fence & iced spruce distress stains to create the marbled background. I coloured both sides of the tag in this way, then inked the edges with walnut stain distress.
I inked some die-cut tattered lace with walnut stain distress, then attached it to the tag as shown. I stamped the Dawn Hauser greeting & frame onto the die-cut ticket with coffee archival, then inked it with ice spruce & walnut stain distress. I attached it with staples.
I decorated the inside by sponging iced spruce distress ink through the snowflake stencil.
The Funkie Junkie challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique, & it now runs until 8th January with the 2 extra bonus tags. All the details can be found HERE. If you complete the challenge, you will get a generous discount to use for one order.
I’m so glad I managed to squeeze in my final tag before the year ended. It has been a wonderful challenge, & huge thanks go to Linda for all her efforts & her beautiful inspirational tags.
Wishing you all peace, happiness & health for 2014,
thanks again for visiting,
