Hi everyone! Tonight on the PaperArtsy Blog, PaperArtsy are launching another great set of stamps by Everything Art designer Kasia Avery. You can see the stamps and lots of inspiration HERE.
Here are my samples with an explanation of how I made them…
PROJECT ONE – ADVENTURE (using EEA01 and EEA05)

This panel started off with a bit of stamping from EEA01, then some Grunge Paste and bead gel were applied over the top.

I used a palette knife to add some Limelight Fresco Finish paint, then randomly stamped the letter ‘a’ from EEA05 and the phrase from EEA01.

I stamped the focal image from EEA01 onto a teabag paper, then used matte medium to adhere it. I added colour with Infusions, spritzing with water to spread and blend the colours, then highlighted the textures with Snowflake Fresco Finish paint.

I decided to stamp the image onto some card, coloured with Golden Sands Infusions, ripped around the edges, then attached it to the panel with gold brads. I stamped an ‘a’ from EEA05, and embossed it with black embossing powder. To finish, I embossed the edges of the panel with gold embossing enamel.

PROJECT TWO – BE BRAVE (using EEA02 and EEA05)

This panel started with some round teabag papers, then stamping with the circle image from EEA02.

Then I added some Grunge Paste Stencilling with PAo21, and painted the panel with Chalk Fresco Finish paint.

Then I’m afraid I got carried away, and didn’t take anymore step shots! I added lots of stamping using EEA02, and lots of grungy colour with Infusions.
I stamped and embossed the moth from EEA02, cut it out, and glued it onto the panel. I stamped the words on the panel, using the alphabet letters from EEA05 and Chalk Fresco Finish paint.
I outlined the words with a black pen, added some splatters of watered down Chalk Fresco Finish paint, then embossed the edges with gold embossing enamel. I also added some sprinkles of gold embossing enamel over the panel for a bit more texture and shine.

PROJECT THREE- I BELIEVE IN BEAUTY (using EEA03 and EEA05)

This panel began with a coat of crackle paste. Then I sprinkled on some Golden Sands Infusions and applied transparent 3D gloss gel over it with PA stencil 001. The gel picks up the colour of the Infusions. After the gel dried, I brushed away the excess Infusions, then added some darker colours of Infusions to highlight the crackles.
I stamped some of the text from EEA03 on the background. Then I stamped the large colour wheel from EEA03 onto watercolour paper, stamped the patterned segment into the segments, then stamped the word using the alphabet letters from EEA05. I made some watercolour paint on my craft mat by adding water to a few grains of Infusions, then painted each segment of the colour wheel. I cut it out and adhered it to the panel.
I also stamped the tiny phrase from EEA03, painted it with Infusions, cut it out, and adhered it above the colour wheel. To finish, I applied glossy accents to the little phrase and the large letters, added some shading around the words and wheel with a charcoal pencil, then inked the edges of the panel with black archival.

PROJECT FOUR – STAR (using EEA04 and EEA05)

For this panel, I began by sprinkling Infusions all over, then I applied transparent 3D gloss gel over the top. As before, the gel picks up the colour of the Infusions beautifully. Once the gel was dry, I spritzed water over the remaining grains of Infusions to add an all over background colour on the panel.
I stamped the image from EEA04 onto a manilla tag, and painted the words and dress with some Infusions mixed with water. I stamped a bit of text from EEA03 at the top of the tag, some stars onto the dress, then tore off the tag below the image. I inked the edges with black archival, added some colourful fibres through the hole of the tag, then adhered it to the panel.
I used the alphabet letters from EEA05 to stamp my title onto white card, sponged it with antique linen distress ink, cut it out, inked the edges with black archival, then adhered it to the panel. I still had a little puddle of Infusions watercolour on my craft mat, so I tapped the stars image from EEA04 into it, and stamped it onto the word ‘star’.
To finish, I stamped a few stamped stars around the panel, then inked the edges with black archival.
