About CreateHER Fest

CreateHER Fest is a global virtual hackathon series in honor of International Women's Day (IWD), empowering women and allies to develop innovative, real-world tech solutions in AI/ML, Blockchain, and AR/VR. Backed by Google Women Techmakers, Internet Computer Protocol, ForbesBLK Miami, and industry partners, this event offers mentorship, networking, and a platform to turn ideas into impactful solutions. This virtual event spans three key phases:

Learn-a-thon (Now - February 24th)

During the Learn-a-thon, participants will learn from industry leaders in AI/ML, AR/VR, and Blockchain. The goal is to develop technical skills and learn to think like innovators, preparing for future phases.

Idea-thon (February 28th - March 2nd)

The Idea-thon at CreateHER Fest is the blueprint phase where participants form teams, identify real-world challenges aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, and craft innovative tech solutions using AI, Blockchain, and AR/VR. These ideas will serve as the foundation for developing full prototypes during the subsequent Hackathon, transforming global challenges into opportunities for meaningful change.

Hackathon (March 3rd - March 8th)

From blueprint to functional prototype, the Hackathon transforms innovative ideas into tangible solutions. Participants will take their Idea-thon concepts and, guided by mentors and cutting-edge resources, build working prototypes that address global challenges through AI, Blockchain, and AR/VR technologies.
