12:39 am: We're back!
Well,for the moment we're sponging off signius's connection until we manage to bring about the sequence of events that lets us commune with the UTV broadband people. Thus far simply phoning them has proven unsuccessful. We expected an adsl router in the mail week ago with which to go online... any day now.

I'll post pics of the new place tomorrow after I get around to actually taking some.

02:36 am: Okeydokey... an entry. I know I promised one a couple of days back, so this is a little overdue. As few of you already know, I started work at the Irish chain of Blockbuster (Xtravision) and I got promoted at work to assistant manager after a couple of months. While this comes with a bigger salary (Yay)it also comes with twice as many hours and far more responsibility. That means I can't be on at ungodly hours save for one or two days a week at most, I gave up WoW for the time being and deviantart stuff has slowed to one render per week at most.

I've also gotten myself a nice little VW Polo which has made things so much easier for me. I actually took it to Dublin this weekend for GameCon XIII, which went without a hitch. It was a baptisim of fire of sorts, since it was also my first time driving out of Cobh. The drive itself was surprisingly easy going, and I only managed to give Brian one or two minor heart attacks. The second of which was on purpose. >_>
And speaking of, we're talking about getting a flat somewhere in town now that we can both afford it, though it won't be for another month or two yet because of work stuff. So if anyone is in the Cobh area at any point, we'll happily give a couch to crash on.

Christ I hate St Patrick's day and today shaped up to be the worst one yet. But as a minor plus, I didn't see a single fake-freckled parade-goer in a ginger wig. No self respecting Irish person would do that to themselves. But then again, self respecting Irish people are getting to be few and far between.
