since when do I blog these days?!? Does anyone actually still use Livejournal? I'm not sure, I feel like i've lost touch with the world of personal blogging through livejournal and myspace.
Monica and I just moved into our new apartment a few weeks ago, it's pretty awesome. Monica is an awesome housemate!
My last place got old kind of quick when my housemate kept having weird parties at 10AM on Sunday mornings with all his friends who were coming down on various drugs. Standing in my kitchen, hungover and in underwear, looking for a clean glass to put some water in while 20 strangers bombard me with questions about myself and all I want to do is sleep and drink water - and all of these issues you raise but then the following week the same thing happens. Drugs can make even the most nice people fucking inconsiderate.
'are we keeping you up?' they ask, 'yes,' i respond. 'that's honest' they remark. I return to my room pissed off muttering something about fuckwits in my house.
We've spent the last few weeks moving stuff, shopping for furniture/appliances and being goddamn domestic. This morning Monica and I were trying to work out which Ashley and Brent picture to hang in our house, we miss those two so much. There's some people that you can have in your life are so awesome and so out of this world that there is always a small void when they're gone.
We bought a sofa bed with them in mind, we want them to be able to stay at our house like we did theirs so many times.
We have a nice balcony that we want to put tonnes of plants on and make lush and green - we also want to put an outside table
Our living area is fully of musical instruments, and I want to add to that soon with a keyboard. I have a desire to make music and whenever I go near a keyboard I play around with them for hours so it seems like i've made my choice for an instrument.
Since I started work at my current job I've worked on tonnes of websites, a few too many insurance websites for my liking - but they're still good for getting some larger names on the folio - at the moment I'm working on the site for a new show on SBS called Hotspell and a site for a famous makeup artist by the name of Elsa Morgan. I've had a pretty wide variety of work and work skills so it's been pretty good.
anyway, I have to leave really abruptly right - no time to finish this...
