This symposium, organized by the Colombian Student Association at Purdue, connected the Colombian academic community in the United States and built bridges of collaboration with Colombia.

- Academic Pairing: Kick off the event by connecting with fellow participants who share your academic and professional interests. Pairings will be revealed during the opening gathering to promote collaboration from day one.
- Prominent Colombians Abroad: Discover the diverse contributions of Colombians excelling in the U.S. across academia, science, arts, and entrepreneurship. Engage with their stories during an insightful Q&A session.
- Dialogue with University Rectors: Explore the future of international collaboration through discussions with Colombian university rectors. Topics will include internationalization strategies, research partnerships, and challenges. Subpanel: Opportunities for returning to Colombia and unlocking research potential.
- Wall of Opportunities: Participate in sessions designed for students pursuing careers in academia, postdoctoral research, or industry. Connect with professors and companies offering postdoc and recruitment opportunities and gain practical advice on transitioning to postdocs or industry pathways.
- Poster Session: Celebrate the achievements of Colombian graduate students in the U.S. as they present their research. Enjoy an open-format session designed for networking and constructive feedback.
- Presentations: Be inspired by brief, 10-minute presentations from selected students and scholars showcasing their research. Each presentation will be followed by an interactive Q&A session.
