Long over due!

My Wonderful Cousin Sheral Kindly reminded me that I

have not updated my blog in like FOREVER!!

So, here I am trying to back track the past year...

I can't even believe it is a new school year!!

We had a crazy busy summer! Lot's of family reunions, scout camps,

girls camp, youth conference, camping trips! You name it!

We really didn't stop all summer.

We did take Laney to Disney Land for the first time so I will

for sure post pictures of that trip! The other kids were so cute with her and so

excited for her! We all had a great time. Mom and Dad Heap and Brandon, Cassie and their

boy's came with us also. It was fun to see them have their first family vacation!

I love my family so much and it was so great to spend

time with them this summer!

Well, as you can see

I am finally back on the computer!!!

It has been forever!

I don't even know where to start!

I will just have to

add a post here and there

and "post" date them. So don't be

when checking out my blog!

You might miss something REALLY exciting!!

Like today for instance~

Laney has been throwing up for two days,

so I have been washing sheets

and towels and rags and bowls and couches and clothes....

Anyway, I feel so bad for her!

I've never seen her this sick and it breaks my heart!

We are suppose to be having this special

"family week" our Bishop came

up with! I love our Bishop, he is so great and so

centered on the Ward Family and individual families. He came up

with this idea to have a week without any meetings,

no youth activities, no relief society, nothing!

Just spending time with your family!

It's been great~

except for the throwing up part! hee hee

We went bowling, made cookies

read the scriptures a little more, watched movies, played

a little basketball and

have had fun just hanging out!

And it's just Wednesday!!

We are looking forward to general conference

this weekend. We love to relax and

listen to the Prophet and the

council he has to offer!

I am so grateful for my Savior and his sacrifice

I don't know where I would be without it.

I love my family more than

words can say!

Go Utah!!!

It has been so fun going to the U of U games this year!

We broke down and got two season tickets.

We have to take turns going to the games but it's been

worth it! The kids love it and Rob is in Heaven!!

He had a really good season

and is a natural athlete!!

He had his buddy Jarom on his team and loved that.

Brad Paisley~

I was So excited when Rochelle called me and said " We have tickets

to Brad Paisley!" Robby and I have always wanted to see him in concert. We had

so much fun and it was great to spend time with

Rick, Rochelle and Aubrey!

Our Family Trip to Wyoming!!

So, my cute husband planned this

little trip to Wyoming to see some of the Church

Historical Sites. At first I was so negative and really hard on him!

I just couldn't see our young children having

a good time! I thought, let's just go to Lagoon or something

exciting!!

Well, I had to apologize to my sweet and inspired Robby!

It was not only fun for the kids and I, but

Very spiritual and very educational!

All of our children did so good traveling and of course it was fun

to have Grandma and Grandpa Sherratt with us!!

Rob planned out some fun places to go

and we really had a great time!!

On Sunday, we went back to see

Devil's Gate.

It was so amazing to be so close and see just

how big it really is!
Then we drove to the "Willie Rescue Site"
at Rock Creek Hollow!

That was the most spiritual experience, I think

for all of us!!

We had a great time with Mom and Dad Sherratt

and I think the kids will

remember this experience forever!!

B-day Dinner with Friends!

Rob invited some friends of mine and took me to dinner.

I don't think I have laughed that hard in years!! We seriously had the funniest

chef!! It was like we were having dinner at a comedy club!!

Anyway, it was a blast and we finished the night

with dessert at "yogurt land". Yum!!

Even though I was at Convention all day~

My Sweet family still surprised me with a little party

when I got home!

They took me to Chili's for dinner and then we came home

and ate cheesecake and opened gifts!

I love you guys so much!! Thank you for all that you do for me!!

USANA Convention 2010!

This was an experience of a lifetime!!!

I was asked to join the President of USANA, Fred Cooper,

on stage for a skit during the opening ceremonies of

Convention!! I thought it would be fun so I said yes!

Later I found out, I would have to Memorize lines, go in for a

photo shoot and a little acting!

I loved that part!!

Anyway, convention started on August 26th!

Not only is that my Birthday but it was also

the kids 1st day of school!

I was a little stressed out, but everything worked out great!!

The last night of the family reunion

we had a little going away tribute to my nephew

Bradyn Heap! He is going to the Navel Academy to

play football and we are so proud of him!!

I made a book for him filled with pictures and

letters from all of his family.

We went outside and Brady was showing us

how strong he is by bench pressing all the

kids! We love you Brady and can't wait to

watch you play!!

It has always been one of my favorite holidays!

I love it all!

We had a great time at the Cedar City parade,

then we went to the park where the kids climbed the rock wall,

slid down the blow up slide, and Carson got dunked in the famous dunking

machine!! He was so proud of himself!

Yeah!!!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Hiskey's house for

a picnic and swam in the three fountains pool!

It was a fun filled day for all!!!

Friends!

It's always nice to catch up with good friends!!

Rob has stayed really close with his high school friends and

luckily, they married my friends!

Every chance we get, we try to go to dinner with them.

We all happen to be in Cedar City for the 4th of July, so we went to

Rusty's for dinner and then saw the movie "Grown ups"!

It was very fitting and very funny!!!

Good Times at The Cabin!

We have been so excited to get up to Rick and Rochelle's new cabin!

We finally got the chance Sunday after church.

We had so much fun and it is so beautiful!!

We love going to their property,

especially since that is where Robby purposed to me!

Then we had a great BBQ at Mom and Dads house.

Fishing at Kid's Pond brought back so many memories!!

Both Rob and I grew up going to kid's pond.

I am so glad we could take our kids there to make

memories of their own!

What a way to start the 4th of July weekend!!

Barbie Dance Camp!

Laney went to Barbie Ballet Dance Camp this week

and Loved it!!!

She came home every day with something new.

A bracelet, a crown, a book

but today was my favorite!! She looks so dang

cute in her mask!

Laney can't wait to start dance full time!!
