Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards

Entries are now open for the 12th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), recognising excellence in sustainability reporting, transparency, and credible corporate disclosure. Organised as a not-for-profit initiative by CSRWorks International, ASRA sets a rigorous benchmark for high-quality, decision-useful sustainability reporting across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

ASRA recognises sustainability reports that demonstrate strategic relevance, robust materiality, strong governance, credible data, and measurable progress against targets. Reports are assessed for consistency, assurance, and decision-usefulness – rewarding transparency, discipline, and accountability over storytelling or design.

Award Categories

ASRA features a focused range of award categories and sub-categories reflecting the core dimensions of high-quality sustainability reporting. Participating organisations may submit entries in up to seven categories per report, including one main category.

Each category recognises specific aspects of reporting excellence – such as governance, materiality, stakeholder engagement, climate, environmental impact, and community impact – enabling organisations to benchmark reporting maturity across key sustainability dimensions.

Eligibility

ASRA is open to all organisations that publish sustainability reports, regardless of size, sector, or location within the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Whether you are a small or medium enterprise, a large conglomerate, or a government entity, ASRA offers a unique opportunity to build trust and enhance stakeholder engagement. It is a premier platform to showcase your sustainability initiatives and demonstrate your commitment to responsible business practices.

Integrated Reports

The Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA) is held in conjunction with ASRA, reinforcing our commitment to promoting high-quality, impactful corporate reporting. Organisations submitting Integrated Reports should enter them under the Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA). A separate entry form is required for AIRA submissions.

ASRA Awards System

Each ASRA category offers four levels of recognition:

• Platinum
• Gold
• Silver
• Bronze

The top-ranked entry in each category will receive the Platinum Award. The second, third, and fourth place entries will be honoured with the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, respectively.

Winners are decided by an independent judging panel through a rigorous multi-stage process, including detailed assessments and due diligence to ensure integrity and fairness. Learn more about the judging process here.

Winning an ASRA award sends a strong signal to investors, customers, and stakeholders – reinforcing your organisation’s leadership in sustainability reporting, transparency, and accountability.

New in ASRA 2021

As a result of a comprehensive review, there are exciting changes to ASRA. A couple of previous categories have been either retired or enhanced to keep pace with rapid developments in sustainability. ASRA 2021 features three new categories: Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Governance), Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (CEO Letter), and Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Human Rights). More significantly, integrated reporting categories have been removed to become part of the Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA).

You can submit your entries for the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards in three simple steps:

Step-1 Decide the Awards categories that you wish to enter. Read or download Awards categories description here.

Step-2 Download the Entry Briefing and Entry Form here. Fill up the Entry From and  email it to Awards Secretariat at asra@csrworks.com.

Step-3 Make payment and complete the entry submission process.

The Awards Secretariat will send you the acknowledgement and other necessary information once the entry form is received.
