  2. I just found out that you returned to the blogosphere, and it’s great to see you back! Do you have any plans to make accessible in some way the archives of Hallowed Ground? I had several particularly thoughtful pieces you had written bookmarked and would love to be able to look back on them.

  3. Hi Jeff. I’m a Culbreth from Cumberland County, NC. I don’t see versions of my name often and I found you while researching rooster houses. Funny!

    • Hi Patricia! My Culbreath side was originally Culbreth, and has roots in Cumberland County as well. Samuel Duncan Culbreth(?), Sr., born in 1783, died in 1851. Wife Mary, died in Feliciana Parish, Louisiana in 1860. Probably followed Samuel Duncan Culbreath, Jr. to that locale.
