Our idea
We have built a group of installation companies with a culture that maximizes our ability to work closely with our customers and do more and better business together. Today, we are about eighty companies in Sweden, Norway and Finland, but the idea is the same. We grow with like-minded, profitable and leading companies with entrepreneurs who are forward-leaning, customer-focused and successful – that’s how we know that the entire Group is forward-leaning, customer-focused and successful.
Our technology areas
Our geographical presence
Currentum is available in Sweden, Norway and Finland. We are the largest in Sweden, where we have a large geographical spread. In Norway and Finland, we have focused our growth on fewer regions, but the ambition is to become nationwide in those countries as well. To see where Currentum is located, click here!
Our Collective Strength
Our joint success is based on each company’s strong brand, local roots, and committed leaders. At the same time, the subsidiaries get all the benefits that come with being part of a larger group.
Every day, we create the conditions for our entrepreneurs to do more and more profitable business through cross-selling, purchasing agreements and skills supply. Fundamentally, our growth strategy is based on identifying companies with a management team that shares our values – companies that are leaders in their field in their geographical proximity. This means that we maintain a strong entrepreneurial culture and that we prioritize our customers in order to maintain our leading position.
Through Currentum College, our joint educational initiative, we develop our employees and promote the exchange of knowledge and experience. We work actively to meet the competence requirements placed on us in order to become the leading installation partner, where both customers and employees always choose us first.
The strengths can be summarized as follows:
1.
We can offer complete solutions and the projects are always carried out by leading specialists.
2.
We share knowledge between the companies – we are always up to date and find common solutions to your challenges.
3.
We have extensive experience – but we are also good at adopting new, effective methods and processes to ensure quality in everything we do.
4.
We can offer a good price picture – our size allows us to negotiate good prices for materials.
5.
We take care of our contractors and employees – you meet positive and solution-oriented people who are motivated and trained to take care of the projects in the very best way.
Our approach to sustainability
We are currently living in a time of green transition, society must be electrified, digitized and transformed so that we can meet the climate goals of the future. In the middle of this development, you will find Currentum and our contractors. We future-proof properties and industries by making them resource-efficient. We use modern, digital technology to optimize mission-critical systems and flows in our customers’ buildings, and we are involved in building the country’s electricity infrastructure. Being involved and helping with knowledge and practical benefits in this development is our greatest contribution, but of course we also make sure that our own operations have minimal impact.

Tollef Berger
Askim Mysen Rör
Tollef Berger smiles when he tells us that the future is secured for Askim Mysen Rör. It’s easy to understand, the company has been around for over a hundred years. The journey that Tollef has led since the early nineties is a success story. Today, Tollef and Askim Mysen Rör want to grow both the company and key employees. By being part of Currentum, growth in the future is secured – and that is why Tollef is smiling today.
The future is assured!
Today, the company has 180 employees and a broad portfolio of services in pipe contracting, sprinklers, ventilation and service. And also a shop outside Askim. Tollef is the epitome of an entrepreneur, he has worked with everything that the company offers today – from working hands-on with pipelaying to leading the entire company’s work with contracts and sales in the store. Today, the company is a leader in its region and works with large projects in industry and the public sector. These are customers who place completely new demands on documentation and understanding of complex projects. Askim Mysen Rör has invested in both technology and new skills to keep up. But as Tollef says:
- With Currentum, we gain access to completely new knowledge and the ability to meet our customers’ needs and expectations.
- We have also had challenges finding good people for the business as Norway has a new tougher labor law that limits access to skills across borders, but since Currentum is a Nordic group, it is perfectly okay to recruit employees from the Swedish operations to Askim.
- But the biggest advantage is that we can maintain our culture and identity, and work as we have always done together with our customers. With Currentum, we simply get the opportunity to continue to be the small local company, but with the power and strength of the large group.
Annika Mortensen
Veab
Annika Mortensen has been with Veab for fifteen years. She has been the company’s CEO for three years, and Veab has been part of Currentum for the same period. Veab is a leader in the ventilation world of southern Sweden. Today, they work with both small and large projects in the construction industry, the real estate industry and the public sector. By being part of Currentum, Veab and Annika have what they need to continue their growth journey.
Veab can now continue to grow
Annika’s face lights up when she talks about her company, she is a proud CEO who introduces her employees who work with all types of ventilation projects. Veab is not a hard niche company, but its strength lies in the fact that they can handle large and small projects. Complexity and simplicity. Projects in the construction industry, the real estate industry and the public sector. With an in-house workshop, it’s easy to cost-effectively create customized solutions when customers need them. And with a forward-thinking attitude, Annika shows how they work with the latest digital technology to create technical documentation for complex projects.
- We have been part of Currentum for three years, but we are still VEAB! The fact that we can retain our distinctiveness and continue to work in the way that has made us successful is important both for us and our customers. And the fact that Currentum understands that it is through our growth that the whole group grows, that is what I appreciate most about being involved.
- It’s also exciting as a CEO to have a host of like-minded leaders to turn to. People who understand my industry, what we are facing and are used to working with the same challenges are a comfort to me. Being a CEO can be a lonely job sometimes, but in Currentum there is always someone to turn to.
Alexander Ståhlgren
Månssons Rör
Alexander Ståhlgren is site manager and project manager at Månssons Rör in Vimmerby and Västervik. He has a clear vision for how his company will grow in the future. And it is very much about being just like today, but better, smarter and bigger. For Alexander, it is important that the company retains its identity, but can draw strength from Currentum. He simply wants to develop the company, by not changing it fundamentally.
We will evolve by not changing!
Many owners who have knocked on Månsson Rör’s door have seen the greatness of this local leader’s strong position throughout Östergötland and parts of Småland. But most have wanted to control too much, and then the door has quickly closed again. In the region where Alexander works, personal relationships play an incredibly important role. And staying true to ourselves with our own identity and culture, even when we are part of Currentum, is crucial for success.
- We work a lot with industry, municipalities and regions, but also larger construction projects, of course. And what all these customers have in common, whether we work on construction projects or longer service contracts, is that requirements are increasing. The documents must be more detailed, the documentation more extensive and the environmental and sustainability requirements are constantly increasing. Being part of Currentum is a security for us. Knowledge and concrete advice from colleagues from the group is never further away than an email or phone call.
- With the support of Currentum, we can focus on making our projects as good as possible, and ensure that we both grow in the number of employees and expand our business so that we become an even more relevant partner for our customers in Östergötland and Småland.
Janne Ralli
Boctok
Bocktok Oy was founded in 1992. Janne Ralli has been running Boctok since 2007, when he took over the company from his father. Today they have a broad service portfolio with electrical, ventilation, piping and building automation. But also a healthy mix of industrial projects, public real estate clients and long-term service contracts in various sectors. Boctok is Currentum’s major platform acquisition in Finland, and it is here with Boctok and Janne Ralli that the future of Currentum in Finland begins.
The future begins here
You can tell by the atmosphere in the Boctok offices that they are in the thick of things. They are in the middle of a €15 million project, and they have just signed the contract for another project worth more than €10 million that will start soon. What makes Boctok interesting on the Finnish market is that they can deliver a complete solution for large projects. With electrical, ventilation, piping and building automation, they are asked for the really exciting assignments – often with associated long-term service agreements. Since 2022, they are part of Currentum. Boctok is a platform investment for Currentum and the choice of Boctok was based on the same criteria that are successful in Sweden and Norway – the company is a leader in its geography, they share the same values as the rest of the group and they have a well-established brand and strong reputation that can be developed. Here’s how Janne talks about the company and the future with Currentum:
- We chose Currentum because we share the same values. And the Group understands that we have found a recipe for success and we now have the opportunity to build on it. Maintaining our culture and identity was crucial for us.
- We believe strongly in Currentum in Finland and we are already sharing our experience as the group looks for new companies to grow with here.
- And even though Currentum is not yet big in Finland, as CEO I already have a lot of talented colleagues to turn to in order to work on the big issues, those that concern our development and growth.
