Panzer 3 !!

I started this project waaaay back in 2011.  It sat on the shelf for years.  the figures were basically done.  About mid July I picked it up and finished it.   I did add some extra details.... clamps, nuts and bolts antenna holder- that kind of stuff.  I am not an armor modeler.  But I think this old kit is still up to today's standards.

101 Airborne- 200mm Pegaso

This is the Pegaso kit- 200mm 101st Airborne Trooper. I use mostly acrylics and a little oils for the leather stuff.

1st Virginia Continental Line 1781

I am proud to present this bust- 1st Virginia Continental Line, 1781.  this is a new kit offered by the Artists preservation group (APG).  the bust was sculpted by Mike Stelzel and painted by me.

German Trench Raider WW1

Here is Young Miniatures WW1 Trench Raider dude.  I used Vallejo and Jo Sonja acrylics.  I kept the helmet plain, as a lot of modelers have painted with the cammo pattern.  But after reading several books, it seems the plain helmet was more common.  I dirtied it up with assorted pigments and gel mediums.

First One of 2017!

Here is a little vignette of two 101st  Airborne troopers getting ready to load up on D Day.  1/35 scale, Minisoldiers brand.  Resin, painted with acrylics and oils.  Not used to something so small!
