1,2,3..........Green Action!!!
















We started our dicussion at foyer DK.







This is the bamboo tree

















Starting we were using parang
to cut off the bamboo, but the parang
had broken by us .......hehe......
then we used saw to saw it down

I climbed up the hung bamboo!!!
















The tall bamboo was hung by the other bamboo
so we had to pull it down.












With great happiness to capture picture with
the pull down bamboo.

It was hard to cut then we tried to
use parang to cut..........

Making it into smaller pieces....

Fun always stayed with us.

This was one of the trials that we made.
We had made it several times.

Actually lots of people were needed to hold

it when it was constructed.










We made it into this kind of partition (packaged)
to make us easier to carry and build up later.

This was the day before building up the dome at HBP site.
This was one of our trials that we made
at CG cafeteria

Actually we were unwilling to separate it again ...
because it was hard to make...

Everybody was busy to run out their works but some of us were having fun within this busy period. It was pretty good.



















Colourful dome with natural concept is really beautiful ! That is what we want.






This is our complete dome.

















We were incredible! We really could construct it
nicely.
















It was going to rain that day so we were so
scared our dome structure will fall. At
last, we believe it, would not collapse that easy.

It likes us, can stand for any type of challenges,
including this DoMe Project!!!

Everybody was excited when looking at our dome .





We were rather having fun there than went back because we wanted to stay longer with our dome.
















We were so sleepy and tired that day but we
were so happy to see our dome had been built
up nicely an d successfully.




Bamboos have been tied up tightly and nicely.

Actually this colourful cloths that had tied up
the bamboos show our group members' collaboration,
no mater which major we are in.
















This is the other way to see the dome.
It is really unique. It has represented our group
identity.




This is our creativity, our house and our product!!!

Leture 3

By saying so the view of the Buckminster Fuller, there is a assignment have to be completed.

A dome has to be built in 30 minutes with packaged and prefabricated materials. The product, dome has to be nice in view, recyclable, and able to be carried by 3 members of the team. There will be 5 persons of us to form a group. The dome is estimated can stand for 6 months. We followed the rules given.

The 6 elements that produce a product is obeyed, which are intention, act, actor, rule , site, and product. The product show our team name identity. Our team named GREEN PARADISE, which means that we are running on the recycle concept way. That why our motto says : "1, 2, 3 ........Green Action!!!"

Our team identities can be seen from the materials that we use. Collected plastic bags, bamboo, and ragged cloth are all the recyclable materials. Moreover, we have a transparent membrane. It is able to let the light comes into the dome. It also represents our team members co-operation without discrimination.

Lecture 2

There are 7 scales that we have to pay attention.
1 --- object
2 --- interior
3 --- building
4 --- premise
5 --- urban
6 --- regional
7 --- global

Earth is devided into east and west which also calls orient and occident and yet it is appearing eurocentrism. Eurocentrism means that people seeing the globe from the edge of european's view.

Pasific Rim exists along the west coast of north and south American and east coast of Asia.
When we see the world by the other way round, join the Pasific Rim up , will see there is a link between this 2 main land. Pasific ocean exists in the middle of 2 of the Pasific Rim. It raises a kingdom in between them so the region of the Pasific ocean can be said that it is a kingdom.

We are not only can see the globe by linking the Pasific Rim but also by Buckminster Fuller's view. To make a country to be a developed country, the region of the country must be developed. A lot of the constructions need to be carry out, and yet there are a lot of destructive developments. If citizen do not care about the global development, there will be a dying date for the globe included all the organisme of the earth.

Let say that I am the actor. Intention is accompanied by knowledge. Knowledge gains when I am listening and reading. After that I try to understand what have I learned. Before putting it on my mind, I will act to differentiate it if it is right or false. By the same way it is a rule for me to obey. Product is the end result of the determination which is located on the site.

There is a lot of ism can use on the actor, such as altcuism which is a person that states a case no right or wrong. Cynicism person states that all circumstances are wrong. Relativism is the kind of person who will say everything is right, where criticism person states that somethings are right and somethings are wrong.


There are a few sections of forming global. Firstly, a few objects make an interior scene, coming by building. Buildings make it becomes premise and so urban. The urban areas make a regional cities and lastly, global is formed.

The Production of A Built Environment


USM 37th Convocation 2008
( Bush Beside Convocation)
13-17th August,2008

This was the first day of the convocation.

A lot of the canopies were built for salemen to
promote their product.

There were a lot of people visited here which
included foreigners at 14th August,2008.






Lots of stalls there were selling souvenirs.















Some of them sold food product.















All the commercial activities were ended on
17th of August.

All of them had move out from the canopies.


































Technicians had taken off some of the
canopies.





















They dismantled all the canopies.















It turned back to its real look of the site.
