Notoriously Quiet

I know I rarely post here and I am not the best at responding (especially in a timely manner.) But... I would like people to know that I really do appreciate being kept on their friends list and have a daily practice/addiction to reading everyone on my friends list posts. To give a brief update on what has been going on with me for the past year, here we go. I may add more to this a little later but I figure a start is better than nothing.

1. I am learning what it means to be a parent of beautiful and wonderful little girl.
2. I am learning what it means to be a husband to a beautiful and intelligent woman who is also my very able partner in this journey we call life. Hey she can even deal with me when I am being an ass due to the strains of an initiatory life path!
3. I am learning what it means to truly be able to apply my magic and practices to a corporate environment, and even having quite a bit of success with it on top of it.
4. I am moving up the corporate ladder to try and better provide for my family and trying to take pains to make sure it does not overtake my own life and replace the reasons I am doing it.
5. I am currently enrolled in a fitness boot camp, which begins at 5:30 in the morning 3 days a week. For any that know me, you know how big of a deal it is for me to get up early, especially that early.
6. I am trying to compile a journal/manuscript on all my own vampyric and/or magical practices and how they are applied to my everyday life.
7. I am successfully incorporating my magical life with every aspect of my life.
8. I am rebuilding a lot of my skill with dream work and trying to make a regular practice of it.
9. I sold my house in Mississippi finally.
10. I have built a more financially secure environment than I have ever had in my life.
11. I am dealing with a massive amount of personal chaos right now, that makes me feel like I am being completely ripped apart.
12. I am learning a great deal about who I truly am and what I am made of.
13. I am experiencing profound bouts of feeling completely disconnected.
14. My emotional state is rather roller coaster like at the moment, and for about the last month and a half, maybe more.
15. I am constantly having to make choices that are enforced by power of Will alone.
16. I have made a dedication to mySelf to explore the concept of Mastery.
17. I made an oath to mySelf and am holding myself accountable to others that I will carry through with this exploration.
18. I have been producing a newsletter that seems to been doing pretty well among the select crowd that receives it.

I am sure there are quite a few others, but at the moment I guess this will do. Well, until next time I guess.

I would like to take a moment to welcome my daughter to the world! She was born on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 6:10 a.m. and weighed 6lbs and 8 oz. I will be posting pictures and further information later.

It has been quite a while since I posted here and a lot has been going on. Below is a general recap of the year in rear view mirror plus up to now.

1. Got engaged.
2. Moved from Mississippi to Chicago.
3. Got a job.
4. My initiatory path chose a Major, so to speak.
5. Lost a job.
6. Did a bit of freelance work.
7. Learned the 108 forms of Taoist Tai Chi.
8. Participated in my first Sumble.
9. Went to Seattle, WA.
10. Participated in the conception of a Sea Monkey.
11. Participated in my second Sumble.
12. Missed my first Sumble Oath by 15 days.(Although I still think it was a success)
13. Became the Editor of a small Initiatory newsletter.
14. Got another Job.
15. Chose to volunteer my services for another small Initiatory newsletter.
16. Freelance work is picking up enough to become a substantial contributor to annual income. (keeps fingers crossed that it stays that way)
17. Going to get married this Feb. 16th.

I am sure there are quite a few things I have forgotten here. If I remember them sometime soon, I'll update my post.

Ladies and Gents, I would like to present my newest completed project. This site is designed for young children and is supposed to somewhat familiarize them with what some of the town officials do during emergencies.
