So I've been wanting to get my hair done for a while. It just costs so dang much money. Anyway, A few weeks or so ago I had my Mom cut my hair - turned out great and saved my 15-25 bucks. Then my roots were basically 2 inches grown out and I just couldn't stand it anymore so I took the courageous plunge and bought the peroxide and showed my sister-in-law Rach and mother-in-law Deanna what to do. I think it turned out great and it saved me a ton of money. Everyone who knows about how crazy I am wants to see the results for themselves, so here they are.

A Day At The Zoo
We've been working non-stop getting the house ready to sell so the kids have been a bit neglected, that's not true they've been playing non-stop but just not with us...so we decided to make a trip to Tauphaus park, the little zoo in Idaho Falls. Apparently so did every other person in the state o Idaho. It was packed, there are a lot of weird people out there. Dan and I apparently don't get out much because we were shocked. To keep the day ever exciting we decided to pretend we weren't our kids' parents Dan was uncle Oz. I was aunt Elle and we were on vacation with our nieces and nephews Brooke, Albert, and Baby Huffington. It was so fun to call each other different names and be silly. The kids had a lot of fun too.

Big News
It's Official... We are moving back to Utah! Dan just got offered the head basketball coaching position at Roy High. We are so excited. We will finish up the school year here and put our house on the market asap. We've set up a blog to show some of the pics of our house. We still have a lot more to finish up but you can at least get a glimpse. Go to sugarcityhome.blogspot.com.

New Floor
A few weeks ago we replaced our kitchen floor. We LOVE it. My Dad gets most the credit but My Mom takes second for keeping the kids out of the way and helping pull up the linoleum.
The finished product

Christmas In Review
Dan thinks my Dad is pretty funny. We all do really.
CaCa's favorite pose.
Jared may NEVER forgive me for this but I had to capture this moment on film. Priceless.
He and CaCa got the old singlets out for Cade's sake and had a little wrestling mania.
The Big Birthday Boy.
Cade burned his hair on the fireplace.
My Favorite people
Zulee, Caleb's baby, showing off her muscles.
We got just a little snow. We (Jared, Chloe, Cade, and Me) built an 8 foot snowman. I haven't loaded those pics yet though
I hate pics of me but at least you know I was there.

Sometimes
You come across a person who is simply amazing. That would be Summer from summertime designs (my sis-in-law Krysta told me about her). She is who I have to thank for my cute little "stuff" around my kids' picture. You have to go to her blog and read all about the goings on in her life and get all her FREE digi scrap stuff. I love it and it's free! Thanks Summer. Also, she is an amazing mother who has been through a lot with her daughter Claire, and is an amazing friend who did something amazing for her friend who's daughter has cancer. Just check it all out it's all just amazing to me.
Also, I will be updating my life sometime....

A Fresh Perspective

Everywhere I turn I hear about people who are facing crisis, serious stuff. Satan seems to be working overtime these days. Although my life isn't perfect it sure makes me appreciate all that I am blessed with.

I read this post today and had a little reality check.
I also heard about a woman who lives near me who's 13 year old daughter died from a seizure during the night and was found dead in the morning. Sure makes me want to try harder to enjoy every day with my family.
I am also reading a book by Dr. Laura called The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage. I would suggest that all women I know first read The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands and then start the marriage one. I have definitely benefited from a fresh perspective that makes a lot of sense to me and has made my marriage happier.
Go check it out and let me know what you think.
