About Me

Daniel: Artist Statement My art is inspired by life, nature, and the inexorable desire to grow and succeed. In my art I combine colors and detail so that they come together like fine threads in a colorful quilt. These threads of color accent the other elements in each piece. I am careful to illustrate my subject’s genuine form, and environment, while showing how it is affected by light because it allows me to capture the characteristics of my subject matter and create a captivating world within the confinement of the paper. I hope to take my artwork to 3D animation and study a field that would allow me to animate characters and truly give my artwork life.
