It's that time of year again...
Time to think of an exam theme song!
Right now I'm learning towards Journey - Don't Stop Believing, but I will take all suggestions. ;)
P.S. If you want to get exam specific, my exams are in Insurance Law, Securities Regulation (buying and selling stocks) and Labour & Employment Law.

So the offer is in.
Our agent (a family friend) seems pretty sure that it will be rejected as being too low, and there is also another offer on the house. We'll see what happens - the house does need a fair amount of work, and the economy is shitty, so who knows? The listing agent happens to be in the same office as our agent, so we know that the sellers are pretty convinced that they can get their asking price (but the house has been on the market since September).
I guess we'll see what happens. Need to fill out some mortgage applications tonight, and work on trial practice since our final trial is going ahead as scheduled next weekend, despite the strike.
Eek.

To continue the best week ever, I just managed to spill diet coke all over my wireless keyboard. I got as much of it as possible, and so far it's still working. Fingers crossed!

Is it ironic that I should be studying labour and employment law during the strike?
Yeah, still no resolution in sight. The union is still refusing arbitration, and from what I've heard (granted, this is just hearsay) it's a nightmare to try and get on campus - some of the picketers are apparently quite abusive to people wanting to cross the line. I'm just glad I don't have a paper to do that would require library-time.
I really hope this doesn't interfere with writing the bar or articling, because I don't think I could go through that interview process again.

Okay, so I was wrong. The joke contest for class tonight doesn't have to be only lawyer jokes. Apparently the winner last year was a George W. Bush joke.

Whoever has the best joke for class on Wednesday night gets their choice of Leafs or Raptors tickets - apparently the best seats in the house (considering the Prof is on the board for MLSE).

The show last night was fantastic, but my sinuses are in absolute agony right now. I'm guessing it's from the "slight" over-use of fake fog. I was using my scarf as a dust guard for about half the show.
I also think I'm going to die because I drank beer, but neglected to take my anti-histamine until after I'd had two. Ugh.
I just slept for 12 straight hours, and I totally just want to crawl back into bed.

Finally took him in to the computer dude today. Took one look at it and said my motherboard is fried - probably from a power surge. This makes all the other components of my system suspect as well.
So I agreed to buy a new one that he's going to make for $500. I hope I don't get screwed.

Unfortunately, I have no one to go with - all my friends are busy with their fancy jobs, or planning their weddings, or going on trips.
