About

I started my writing career in Alberta, as a business reporter and trade journal editor, before fleeing the office, 20 plus years ago, and moving to British Columbia.

Writing

My essays have appeared in The Common, The Smart Set and The Morning News. As a travel journalist, I’ve written for The Globe and Mail, National Geographic Traveler, and Frommer’s travel guides.

Photography

One of my favorite landscapes to explore with a camera is my own backyard, a wine and fruit producing valley in the southern interior of British Columbia.
