COUNTING MY BLESSINGS!!!
I have really been struggling lately with life and being grateful for what we have, and for what we have accomplished. Having to watch people you care about and love so much have to be sick and you want to spend every second with them but know you can't is so difficult for me.
I just wanted to take time to write down what I am thankful for and our blessings that I don't take time to recognize or be grateful for.
I've decided that I really like the idea of "counting our blessings," but it's always seemed impossible to me. I believe the concept is to "focus" on your blessings so that they may flourish and wash over your life. Heavenly Father gives us far too many blessings to actually count.
Be grateful that you've obtained a degree in higher education.
Be grateful that the gospel allows you to visit and teach others.
Be grateful that you have hands to make a to-do list and a body to do them.
Be grateful for that job that you are able to earn money from and provide for family.
Be grateful for your friends, loved ones, and the time they take to care for your well being. They are just as busy as you.
Be grateful that you have children who make you happy and love you unconditionally.
Be grateful that you have a Spouse that supports you in whatever you need and want.
Be grateful you have a great family that sees your accomplishments and knows you are only doing your best.
Be grateful for you Spouses family that has accepted you as part of the family.
Be grateful that you get to tell others you love them and don't hold back because you are scared they may be scared too.
Be grateful that you have the opportunity to read, write, and listen to others
.
Be grateful you think before you speak. (Most of the time).
Most of all, be patient with yourself. It's going to take time. But don't the things that are worth it always do?
Elder Richard G. Scott said this "Many voices from the world in which we live tell us we should live at a frantic pace. There is always more to do and more to accomplish." Elder Scott knows his stuff. Our world is incredibly fast-paced and seems to never slow down let alone stopping to take a breath. This exemplifies how I've felt the last year and I am so grateful to have learned that there is such a thing as "too many good things." I have promised myself to never again become so busy and overwhelmed that I feel I don't have time to enjoy life,or be apart of others life and happiness. I am indeed grateful to Matt and family for their patience and encouragement during this period of trial.
I can't say enough how grateful I am for others influence in my life, and hope that one day I can be a influence, and show others how much they mean to others. Well for now I will finish but always be grateful for things in life, and stop and realize how precious life is.

Update!! Surprise we are still alive!!
Life has been a roller coaster for the last year. I was thinking the other day I need to update I am such a slacker.
Matt is still doing his locksmithing, Kristen is still working in Radiology and loving being a mom. Dallan is Going into 4th grade that is so unbelievable to me he is getting so big too fast. Dallan loves swimming and is becoming quite good at it, he loves to see if he can beat his times when he competes. I thought that he would never get competitive enough to keep going to swim meets but he has surprised me these last couple of meets. Dallan is also enjoying cub scouts and riding his bike, he thinks he can just go ride around but we don't let him so he always asks if he can ride to grandma's and we follow. It sure is hard to give him a little room to gain some independence. I think that is going to be a struggle for Matt and I.
Kamdyn is doing well he finished his 2nd year of preschool and we are not sure if we are going to put him in kindergarten yet his preschool teachers think he is ready but we aren't sure I still think he is too little. We will see when it gets to august if he goes or not. Maybe it is just me who is not ready. Kamdyn enjoys barbie. I know I know but he just can't stop doing it I hope this is just a phase because if not I think I will have a breakdown. He is such a cuddly love bug and always has a compliment to say. Kinlee is growing so fast she is such a delight to be around, she is such a great addition to our family. Kinlee is smiling and cooing, and loves to fall asleep on our bed, boy are we in trouble. So there is our update and now some pictures.

Summer has already began it's crazy to think that we have finished baseball and started with our summer swim meets. I love being busy in the summer it helps to keep kids occupied and helps us to have fun together as a family. Now I can't wait for our vacation to Oregon. There will be pictures to follow as soon as I can get them from Brendaa and off my camera.
