More than I hate talking about myself, I hate writing about myself, but I guess I can mention a few things like I write fantasy (dark, heroic, sword and sorcery, historical, horror), I’m crazy about vampires, have a growing collection of vampire movies, own 5 seasons of True Blood, all of Buffy, all of Angel, all of Blood Ties, the Twilight movies (I don’t care that they glitter!), 30 Days of Night is my favorite vampire movie, not fond of zombies, read lots of books, like cats (like dogs too). I’m writing a fantasy novel, A Lamentation of Swans, that I hope will win me lots of readers! I should stop now.
Hello Pendrifter,
You have a stunning site, and I just want to say thank you for adding me to your blogroll.
Lisa
Dear Pendrifter,
I second Lisa’s comment, and thank you for adding Zenobia, too, to your blogroll. I’m happily anticipating many back-and-forth visits.
Judith
Thank you, Lisa and Judith! d:)
Have a nice day !
I mentioned your blog in reference to Liebster Blogging Award. Check out the post and participate as much as you like. No obligations from my end. It’s a thanks for posting something I enjoy reading and it may help drive traffic to your site.
Thank you for your work and time!

I had to leave right before the ending of 30 Day of Night (didn’t get to see the good guys win) on Halloween my junior year of high school. Was the scariest drive home of my life.
I like your blog!
Thank you so much! Too bad you had to miss the end of 30 Days of Night. It was awesome! d:)
Neat blog. BTW, I love 30 Days of Night too! And also cats.
Thanks, Dara! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched 30 Days of Night. One of my favorite things about that movie is the vampires have a language, and they are well-realized. d:)
Thank you for mentioning my article in The Writer on deep maps some time ago on your blog. I have subsequently published some more research on this, and the subject of deep maps , how to make them, and how to use them for writing practice is addressed in my upcoming book, The Soul of Place, A Creative Writing Workbook. Ideas and Exercises for Conjuring the Genius Loci, coming out from the publisher Travelers Tales (CA) in May 2015
You’re welcome, Linda! You know I lost my copy and have to try to find it again. Will certainly buy your workbook! D:)
Must be serendipity. Earlier today, I found a new writer to follow over a mention of A Murmuration of Starlings, and now you, and A Lamentation of Starlings. A fine day of discovery! 🙂
Good grief. Of course I mean Swans. So sorry.
