So I hope everyone is doing well.
Things have been hectic with my job and possible lay-offs. I was not well for awhile, so my doctor took me out of work, but I am doing much better now and have been back at work for a couple of weeks now.
Most of what's been going on I've kind of kept to myself, because I've had a rough few months, hence not posting so much.
So if I've been MIA, or if I haven't been very responsive, I'm sorry. It's nothing personal, it's just the way my brain works sometimes. |

Hi all,
My husband has just started his own general contracting/handyman business and I wanted to let everyone know and ask that you please pass the information on to friends, family and co-workers. He can do pretty much anything, from changing a light bulb to putting on an addition. In fact, he installed his first central air conditioning system when he was 11 years old. He's got experience doing pretty much everything. He's also an extremely hard worker, a very fast worker and a perfectionist. He is in the process of putting together a portfolio with letters of recommendation and before/after pictures of things he's done. He's also very fairly and competitively priced.

Thank you to every single one of you for your support this past weekend and your concern about Marcio. You guys really are great, and I appreciate it. :)
Just to give you an update, they're still not sure what happened. He tested negative for Lyme disease and the doctor took more blood yesterday because he said there are a few very rare things that could cause his symptoms. He doesn't want to call it a stroke just yet until he rules out every other possibility because of his age.
In the meantime, he's now living the lifestyle of a stroke victim: we changed our diets, we've starting walking together an hour a night, he's trying to curb his anxiety, etc. If it turns out to be something else, then we'll adjust and deal with whatever it is.
This was the scariest thing I have ever had to go thru and we are taking it day by day right now. Thank you to all of you for your support during this difficult time. And sorry about the party. :( |
