..... My funny Little.......
The other day we were driving along and she was snacking on her leftover "bread fingers" (aka my way of getting her to eat her bread in her lunch box) and she had the realization that this bread looked and tasted a lot like the bread we use at church for sacrament.
I told her yes, it was like that bread and she continued to eat it and said:
"Mmmmmm....I'm thinking about Jesus!"
(side note....Jonathan and I try to get her to sit and be reverent-or as reverent as a 4 year old can be- during church- and have instructed that when she takes the sacrament she should sit quietly with her eyes closed and think about Jesus....hence the connection).
At this point she has my attention and I'm watching her in the rear view as she's munching on bread and has her eyes closed.
She continues (like she's imagining it) "Oh.....Wow- he's walking on water....."
(I'm overjoyed at this point...I love that she's putting things together that she's learned in Sunday School... I'm eager to hear what other things she's collected in that little brain of hers....)
"Now he's making bunny ears in the shadow against the wall...".
Wait, what? I say exactly that and she opens her eyes and erupts into giggles.
What a funny Munch...a little irreverent...just like her mommy....Go figure....

. . .and one more (delicious) thing!
For those of you at the reception or our superbowl partay im sure you had these fantabulous cookies....if you were there and didn't.... SHAME on you....although Im pretty sure you wouldn't have passed them up on purpose....
For those that weren't there- trust me.....these are too legit to quit. Thick, soft/giant delicious cookies...... Anyhoo- my fabulous new friend/neighbor/running partner here in Cali was gracious to share the recipe that she made for me. I wish I had a pic of these remarkable cookies bc they are not only delectable, but she made them adorable too....
Anyhoo- I just wanted to share b/c I know many of you have been asking for it and I wanted to share the wealth.
Enjoy and good treats!
Sugar Cookies (Marcae R's recipe)
6 c flour
3/4 tsp salt
2 c salted butter (softened)
2 1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 large eggs
4 TBSP milk
preheat oven to 375
whisk together flour/salt and set aside
cream together butter and sugar
add eggs, milk, vanilla
add flour mixture slowly and beat on low until combined
Divde dough in half and form into two balls. Flatten into a disk and wrap tightly in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour
On a floured (or p sugared) surface roll out dough to desired thickness (they will not puff up a ton so if you want them thick- as she made them- roll them out as thick as you want them to be). She used a big flower cookie cutter so they were delightfully giant.
Bake for 10-12 minutes- she usually takes them out early- like 8/9 minutes. Let them set on pan for a min or two if you do.
Cool and frost (delightful receipe to follow) then eat the crud out of them and repeat as necessay until your Heifertitis is fulfilled.
ICING
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 c butter (softened)
1 tsp vanilla
powder sugar
mix cream cheese, butter and vanilla til creamy then add powdered sugar to desired consistency.

It's been a minute.......
What a whirlwind it always is...this LIFE thing......
How delicious and exciting and exhausting and memorable and trying and beautiful and special is each day, week, month, and year we get to progress here on earth?!
SO....much has changed and I find myself with my adorable HUSBAND and sweet Little here in Cali and I'm loving living this life that is mine.
When I have more time to be creative/whitty/clear headed and not procrastinating doing 50bajillion things I'll do some more posting with more pics to play catchup on all the going ons of the last 2 months.... but I just wanted to share my gratitude for my AMAZING eternal family and the loveable/loyal/ridinkulously adorable friends I have who are always there for me emotionally/physically/spiritually, etc.... I'm a lucky lucky girl for all I've been given/entrusted with and I'm grateful for the people who help shape my life and make things yummier/smoother/less stressful/more beautiful/funnier/ and more exciting.
Thank you to all of you who know me ( and still love me :) ). Know that you are loved and treasured in return!!

Help a girl out.....
Anyone have a good idea for a wedding dress?.....
Just putting out a casting call for good ideas....Since we don't have a wedding date at this time we are working with an absolute unknown....so am looking for great ideas for a wedding dress ....wedding could take place 2 weeks from now to whenever fate decides?.......
Requirements:
Do you know of a secret place where I can buy an inexpensive off the rack and get it altered, someone who is selling thier (size 4-ish) wedding dress for a steal and wants it to go to a good home,?.......Some other fab idea that I'm not thinking of but you, with your brilliant mind, may see as obvious?????
Email me or reply to this post....Muchos gracias!
Just putting out a casting call for good ideas....Since we don't have a wedding date at this time we are working with an absolute unknown....so am looking for great ideas for a wedding dress ....wedding could take place 2 weeks from now to whenever fate decides?.......
Requirements:
- Awesomeness
- Inexpensive
- The ability to make me looking striking......
- I will more than likely wear it twice...once on unknown (temple) wedding date and once on the reception date...also unknown (so I'm not sure a rental will do bc of those two different dates- unless someone knows of a rental place in AZ or CA?).
- Form fitting....not big and fluffy. No square necks...otherwise I'll look like a linebacker with my broad shoulders. I'm not big on detailing...kinda a simple style....
- I need to be able to get it quickly...like 2 weeks notice-ish?
