

A while back my hubby came home with a whole pack of instant seaweed egg drop soup, so here I am trying to recreate this at home.
I start soaking half a pack of chinese seaweed(they are different to japanese seaweed) then in a soup pot, i pour in a can of chicken soup, plus another cup of water, then i add in a handful of baby anchovies and soften seaweed. Bring it to a boil, in a bowl crack an egg or two and whisk it. When the soup come to a boil add teaspoon salt, bit of pepper, dash of light soya sauce, at the end swirl in the beaten egg and turn off the gas.
Before serving drizzle sesame oil
