ImageMapEdit adds a graphical editor to image pages for easy creation of ImageMaps. Source code is available on GitHub.
Installation
Usage
On any image page, click the ImageMapEdit > button located under the image. An interface will pop out, allowing you to create areas in the "Create new area" section.
In the "Edit area" section you can see a list of areas on the left and additional parameters on the right. For circles and rectangles, left clicking on the image will select the first point and right clicking on the image will select the second points. You can also manually edit the boxes to set the positions. For polygons, left clicking on the image will add points in order. You can also set the link target and an optional display title.
In the "General preferences" section you can add overall information, like the description and info link location.
You can also import previous wikitext in the "Import areas from wikicode" section.
The "Generated wikicode" section will update as you edit, and copying its contents into an article will display the generated code.
