just my luck to get off of a long day of work and having to walk home in this weather. What makes it horrid was that I had to walk north all the way which just spat sharp ice into my face te entire time.
Work was busy busy busy. As soon as the first flake fell from the gray skies, people were swarming for mocha lattes and every other chocolate hot drink possible. Made over $24 in tips which is quite nice when you are splitting all tips with everyone working (3 ways).
At one point after a small pause in traffic I had another co-worker hand out small hot chocolates to everyone in the coffee shop. They all seemed happy thinking I was just nice but the truth is that I was handing them out as "thank you for not having children with you" gifts.
Watching the ice blow outside the windows as I type. It looks like sea salt being poured from a massive sift.
Time to make feel warm food. Roast some tomatos and mix with chicken and pasta...maybe use up the fresh parsley.
At least my roommate picked up a large bottle of merlot. I have the day off tomorrow (as I expect many shall have around here since this stuff is not melting till monday afternoon) so I am hoping to catch up on some work.
BTW, I have an external 40 gig hdd now and have been moving my files for sharing onto it under soulseek. User name is felinia. My router sucks at times so not everyone is able to get to my files but oh well.
