disoriented

Woke up at 4am for no reason and laid in bed till I was able to fall back into sleep... Dreamed of my brother and I investigating a local area of forest, falling deeper into the tall pines, rummaging past a a creek that was populated by over large godlfish. the afternoon sun streaming through portals of the high rise foilage giving glimpses of the brilliant golds and ornages swimming below us. We came upon a large clearing, what looked like construction yet was of logs and houses with only 2-3 walls. The clearing had the surface of an old corn field, decayed husks of plants leveled to the ground and set into rows. I came upon on large structure, a cross between a stall with the tin roof that would normally be seen on old tobacco barns. Peering in I saw the standing corpses of 4 circus elephants, going from right to left each stage of decay being represented. The first one to the far right was mummified, then the next a clean skeleton and so on. Throughout this dream, the only item that seemed to confuse me was a discovery in the field. I saw myself with vibrant blue skies behind me staring into a hole. The hole was was circular with a depth of possibly 3 feet. It held a mummified corpse of a turtle. Its shell with layers of crop dust, its dried legs about 2 feet long and it stood erect. It had the posture that suggested its neck should have been stretched out as well, but it was headless.
