Background & career arc

I’ve been fascinated by technology for as long as I can remember. What started as an obsession with early internet culture, from AOL and Geocities to AIM, grew into a lifelong passion for building things online. I loved the mix of creativity and logic that came with code, design, and digital communities.

After college, I began my career in IT before realizing I was drawn more to the creative side of technology. Discovering WordPress completely changed my path. I fell in love with the open-source community, started designing and coding plugins, and quickly knew this was what I wanted to do with my life.

That path led me to co-found GiveWP, a donation platform that grew from a late-night idea into one of the most widely used fundraising tools in WordPress. After several years of growth and impact, GiveWP was acquired by Liquid Web, where I continued leading the product under StellarWP before eventually moving on to new challenges.

Today, I’m proud to serve as Head of Jetpack at Automattic, working to help millions of WordPress users create, publish, and grow with confidence. It has been an incredible journey so far, and it is still evolving.
