What it does
It registers blinking motion and calculate the frequency. And it tries to remind the driver if he is detected to be tired or sleeping.
How we built it
We used python and opencv.
Challenges we ran into
Installing the dlib library. Downgrading the playsound library. First time working with OpenCV. Long processing time for the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A fully functional project. A well-stacked team. Turn our idea into a project in under 36 hours.
What we learned
We learned more about facial recognition and voice recognition software, Python. And so much more for our first hackathon!
What's next for Wakey Wiki
Lower the processing time. Set up a measurement period before taking the input and process. Hand gesture. And detect yawning.
