Inspiration
We are headed to the same meetup. We would like to travel together but organizing on the comment thread is hard and annoying for everyone. There had to be a better way.
What it does
Click on the link for your meeting's ShareMyRide. Tell us, give a ride or get a ride, where are you, when can you leave. Using proprietary technology and fairy dust, we suggest riders to the drivers and provide a way to interact and seal the deal.
How we built it
Simple ideas are disruptive and this one takes a simple HTML link. A user is match-made on the back end with the ESRI API.
Challenges we ran into
Lack of personnel. Reached out to people on devpost but never heard from anyone. Not even sure they got the message.
