Inspiration
The Agric sector in Nigeria lacks the capacity to attract local and foreign investment due to the fact that the investors lack access to consulting services that will enable them asses the viability of the venture.
What it does
The AgriHub Webapp provides a handshake between Investors, Famers and Agric Service Providers on investment requirement, feasibility, viability, productivity and profitability in the chosen area of investment in Agriculture. AgriHub exposes investors to the vast business opportunities in the Agric sector.
How I built it
We built the Webapp using open source technologies with a flexible entry and exit for users depending on their specific requirement. We used a three tier architecture and an agile development approach.
Challenges I ran into
Organising team members to meet up with time lines Breaking down the complexity of the application into manageable modules Sourcing for agricultural information to reflect dynamics of different value chain.
