Inspiration
The inspiration for the project the classic childhood game "telephone". We believed it would be an interesting idea to see how it would be to play telephone with AI generated images as the images tend to not be completely accurate.
What it does
Our goal is to inform people on how to make AI calls, and demonstrate how AI interprets things differently than we might assume. We satisfy this goal by making our website user friendly and by implementing an image AI into a unique spin on the game of "telephone".
How we built it
We built our project by making a web application using bottle in python, JavaScript and html. We did the API calls in python and then implemented the images into JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenges we ran into was being rusty with html which led to difficulties in setting up the website. We also had some issues using different style elements that aren't perfect, but we worked around it and are proud of our final deliverable.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we made a functional website that looks nice and works as intended.
What we learned
We learned a lot about python, html and API calls. This was an amazing learning experience for all of us.
What's next for AI Generations
Next we will likely polish the website and host it on a reliable server. Also, we are working on a more colorful and engaging UI for the game.
