Inspiration

Healthcare should be a right to everyone, but it's becoming more and more like a privilege because of long doctor waiting time and costly medical bills. We want to create a platform that provides basic and efficient analysis and care open to everyone.

What it does

It allows users to click on body parts of a visualized diagram and we'll provide diagnosis and treatment suggestions as soon as we have sufficient symptom to match it to a disease.

How we built it

We first discussed about the serious issue in the healthcare industry, and found out that the healthcare system we commonly used right now is not that easy-access and time-consuming. Facing this problem, we want to create a platform that can help more underserved communities who have limited access and knowledge of healthcare, and provide the simple and visualized access to the healthcare knowledge and solution.

Challenges we ran into

When deciding the focusing aspect, we are really hesitated whether to choose wireframe or technology execution. After sharing the coding experience to each other, we decided to use Figma to visualized the ideal platform(website) we want to show to our target audience. Since Figma is a totally new platform for us to access, we put so many efforts on this interaction and visualisation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though this is the first time for us to use Figma, we learned how to use Figma to achieve the effect of our ideas and projects in a really short time. Meanwhile, since we were not familiar with each other before, we were so proud that we could corporate that well and process a project together.

What we learned

We learned that if we want to try our best to solve the problem existing in the society, more sympathy thoughts and innovated ideas should be combined together. Combined these with the technology, the problem must’ve been solved in the future.

What's next for AIDoctor

Accuracy: We want to ensure that the AI provides accurate diagnoses and advice to make AIDoctor more reliable.
Privacy: Robust data protection measures to safeguard patient information.
Regulatory Compliance: Our website must comply with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA in the United States.
Inclusivity: We want AIDoctor to have more diverse target audience, including people with disabilities and people with different culture backgrounds and children.
