Always Helping

This is a website made specifically for youth who feel like they are in an unsafe environment. It includes links and information to help them get to a position and to a place where they feel safe.

Inspiration

My sister was depressed last year. There was nothing I wanted more than to help her and I didn't know what she as going through but looking back, so many kids face this problem too, feeling alone. That's why I envisioned a place where any kids who feel this way can seek help from those who understand them, ad get shown al the resources they have.

What it does

This is more of an open website that gives information and resources to the youth that come here for a bunch of websites, forms, or hotlines that could help them.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm really proud that I could get this done within the span of one day since I joined the hackathon a bit late, and couldn't work during school because of the excessive homework.

What's next for Always Helping

Hopefully, we can add more functionality or have counselors with access to the advice page to give more professional advice.
