Inspiration

Applying to job is a job in itself. We want to make finding a job as easy as possible.

What it does

Stop wasting your time filling out boring job applications 🙅

Paste the URL of any job application and our AI agents 🤖 will automatically customize your resume and apply you to the position 📝

How we built it

• we use nolita to scrape a job listing for the job description and application questions.
• then we use chatgpt & the user's resume to generate a response for each question in the resume.
• we also use chatgpt to customize the user's resume based on the specific job description.
• finally we use nolita again to fill out the job application using the customized resume and the context generated by chatgpt

Challenges we ran into

• automating the resume format on pdfs
• consistency of results
• chatgpt hallucinations

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• our demo is working end to end with few constraints

What we learned

• This was our first time building with nolita, we learned how to combine nolita and puppeteer to execute more complicated automation tasks than either tool can currently do on its own.

What's next for Apply Bot

• Adding more to the UI
• Collecting analytics to determine, how are employers reacting to our resumes, Insights on different companies or employers, worker satisfaction
• generating well formatted resumes for each application
