Inspiration
My dad recently opened a small purse store at a local mall in my hometown. His greater problems include knowing how much money he makes, how to apply in new sales and most importantly: when money from credit cards is going to get into his bank account, since these are a little tricky to keep track of (virtually impossible using a pen/paper system like his now).
What it does
Aroma is an open source system for stock controlling as well as statistics evaluation. Main features go around adding/removing products from the database as well as displaying graphics about past days/years/months and evaluating future progress, as well as keeping track of card payings (such as credit or debid card sales).
