Inspiration
Ever had an idea for a fantastic story, but lacked the funds or motivation to get it off the ground?
That's the struggle we saw many of our writer friends going through. We personally struggle with creative writing, also don't get paid enough to do it in our spare time! We wanted to build something that would help these awesome storytellers to get their work out there, to get them excited about writing,, feel backed by their community, and even get a chance to translate to multiple languages, by the backed fund. Also we love manga and anime, with generative AI we implemented we believe we can turn a lot more people into creative director for various medium.
What it does
ArtiFusion is something between the human creativity, AI tools and blockchain tech. It's a platform where writers can pick up inspiration, have some fun with it like getting suggestion for next line, generate some images to insert, and get donations from people who dig their style. Additionally, we've got this cool feature where the platform throws out random themes (thanks to Chainlink VRF) that writers have to use in their stories and generated images using Midjourney. It enables fan to submit Donation through Flow network. The created work is stored on smart contract and listed on our gallery.
Leveraging the power of the Flow network, we can generate captivating narratives and retrieve information.

How we built it
We used Solidity smart contract for the core of our platform, coupled with a front-end built in Next.js using Tailwind, pure CSS, and DaisyUI. For the random theme one, we brought Chainlink's VRF on board. We also decided to go with Flow by leveraging the capabilities of the Flow network, we enable scalable and swift transactions, facilitating the creation of engaging stories and seamless data retrieval.
Challenges we ran into
We definitely hit a few speed bumps along the way. Getting the Ethereum smart contract to work nicely with Chainlink VRF was a bit tricky. Plus, making sure the transactions on the platform were smooth and safe was a challenge. But in the end we managed well.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're superproud of that we managed to weave in Chainlink's VRF into our platform in the most creative way possible. And the fact that we created a space that not only gives writers a boost but also gets fans involved is pretty awesome. However, just seeing ArtiFusion come to life and work the way we imagined. We are happy we reached to the end.
What we learned
We got to understand better of smart contracts, learned how to use Chainlink's VRF, and discovered how to marry front-end technologies with blockchain. But the big lesson was seeing first-hand the potential and challenges of creating a decentralized application.
What's next for ArtiFusion
We're thinking of adding more cool stuff like a voting system for fans, making UI more intuitive, and more. We're also pretty stoked about exploring more tech to use, and get collab with creators' organization and find sponsorships and forward.
