Inspiration
Our inspiration was the diction feature on mobile devices and Voice typing on Google docs.
What it does
Audio Access creates a transcript from audio recorded realtime.
How we built it
We used html, css, and javascript to create the frontend prototype.
Challenges we ran into
We were unable to get the full transcript and continuous speech recognition to function simultaneously.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the speech recognition to work effectively.
What we learned
We learned how to utilize Webkit speech recognition.
What's next for Audio Access
We would like to implement a language translator, continuous speech recognition, and bionic reading.
