What it does
bankAR allows the user to choose a PIN and log in through augmented reality (AR) to view their personal finance information. This is more secure, and also allows for a more immersive experience for the user. The AR is triggered by a custom VuMark (similar to a QR code) that links the user's bank account with their account on our website.
How we built it
We set up a website that allows users to register for bankAR. From here they can set their custom pin, which is a sequence of the colors Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. When the user points their AR headset at their VuMark, they simply need to enter their sequence of colors to login and view their account information represented in AR.
Challenges we ran into
We'd never used C#, Unity, or Vuforia before, so figuring out all that and getting things up and running took a while.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to get a working product that looks pretty good!
What we learned
AR is really cool, but Unity is a pain.

Adding more AR features to visualize things even better.
